Not only have you invited your friends and family to your wedding but their kids as well. So how are you going to keep them preoccupied without disturbing their adult guests? If you have kids or are a caretaker in any way, you know that entertaining a child can sometimes be work. Thats why we always suggest having some pre-made activity bags for them so no one has to worry about keeping their kids busy and can truly enjoy the wedding! The good news is that it can be surprisingly easy to keep kids preoccupied at a wedding. Check out the list below for some of our go-to ideas to include in your kids activity bag! 

Coloring Sheets: a must have in your kit. You really can’t go wrong with arts and crafts. Check out these cute clipboards by Something Turqoise 

Small Board Games: connect 4, Uno, and Jenga are great options. Try Amazon for some mini versions of these games!

Playdough: an easy and small activity to add to a kids bag. Plus it is an activity that is not super messy and easy to clean up.

Crossword Puzzle or Tic Tac Toe: for those who like to use their brain a bit this is perfect for the older kids!

Toy Doll or Car: easy to grab small toys from the dollar tree aisle

Snack Treat: Most kids won’t refuse a snack. Options like goldfish, cheeseits, cheerios, crackers, etc are perfect for a kids bag. 

Glow Sticks and Necklaces/Braceletsperfect for the girls and the boys as they will keep themselves very busy with anything glow and the dark and easy to fit inside an activity bag! 

Play Instruments: kids love to make noise, so why not let them! This activity is great for when the bride and groom are recessing down the aisle or heading off to their honeymoon. 

These are just a few of our favorite go-to ideas, but don’t be afraid to get creative or keep it as simple as you’d like! With any of these ideas- your kids will stay happy and having fun at your wedding!
