These two lovebirds seriously made me smile! I thoroughly enjoyed working with not only Marissa and Rudy on all their lovely details, but also with Marissa’s delightful mother, Jeanine. This family became near and dear to my heart and I wanted nothing more than to see this beautiful wedding go off without a flaw!
Marissa and Rudy’s wedding took place on a beautiful January day at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach. You’ve got to love Southern California weather for winter weddings! It truly was a joy to bring together so many lovely details, from their unique lantern centerpieces paired with lovely florals from Flowers By Cina to their Pick a Seat, Not a Side wedding signage — and who could forget their simply cute cupcake cake topper! Lots of fun to be had at this wedding!
Marissa selected roses and hydrangeas in shades of blush and white for the floral arrangements on her big day. She wore a stunning David Tutera wedding gown with a beautiful train and a floor-length veil.
Marissa and Rudy’s three-tier wedding cake was so elegant and unique, and creatively featured bride- and groom-themed cupcakes as a cake topper!
The couple’s sweetheart table was covered with flowers and candles.
Eye-catching tall vase arrangements and an aisle strewn with rose petals graced the wedding ceremony overlooking Huntington State Beach and the Pacific Ocean.
I always think blue and pink are a surprisingly good color pairing for a wedding! The royal blue lace bridesmaid dresses from Belsoie that Marissa picked out for her bridesmaids were so feminine and pretty.
This wedding knocked it out of the park with romantic, small details throughout the day — from creative stationery and signage that honored the special occasion and its guests, to this sweet love note to Marissa from Rudy inside her pale pink shoes!
