It is always such a blessing to me to have the opportunity to coordinate two lovely people’s special wedding day. Lourdes and Elvin were truly those great, sweet people you wish you could tuck away in your pocket and keep forever as friends. And their wedding was truly an example of beauty, grace and sweetness…
Lourdes & Elvin selected the regal and elegant Richard Nixon Library for their ceremony and reception. The ceremony took place in none other than the fabulous full bloom Rose Garden, decorated to the hilt by the amazing Jenny B Floral Design. And who could forget the sweet tunes in the air by the Waworendengs Siblings. It was an intimate ceremony, officiated by Taj Pacleb, a dear friend of the couples that flew in all the way from the islands of Hawaii (the Bride’s home-state) to add a bit of a Hawaiian touch to the day.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed quenching beverages and delicious appetizers by White House Catering (always a great choice), while the Bride & Groom finished up a few pictures. Then, guests headed into the stunning East Room, done up all bloom and glam by: Jenny B Floral Design, Visions Entertainment‘s lighting and tunes, and Vanilla de Patisserie‘s yummy and sweet wedding cake. It was a stunning reception, one I will honestly never forget.
As guests headed out at the end of the evening, they were greeted with something “sweet” to top of the evening… A Sendoff Candy Station, where they could fill their baggies with yummy treats and goodies. A fantastic way to end a beautiful wedding with Sweet Dreams!
And of course, I have to give a shout out to the talented Andrea, from Enchanted Portraiture, who orchestrated all portraits for the day; Steve & Laura, from Vantage Point Productions, who fulfilled all videography elements with an A+ in my books!
Thanks Lourdes & Elvin for giving me the opporutnity to work with you two on your special day. Such a blessing and here’s to many, many wonderful years together!
