To say that I was truly honored to be a part of Laurin & Jeremy’s wedding would be an understatement. This couple was absolutely fantastic and such sweet, loving, kind God-fearing people that it was a blessing to be their coordinator.

Laurin hired me a year and a half before her wedding. She was one of those clients I spoke to regularly during her planning process and I loved being kept in the loop with all her plans. Because Laurin had so much time to plan her wedding, on a budget I might add, she was able to really research items to purchase and vender services to make sure she was getting the best deal possible. All of the venders she selected were fabulous, with most of them coming from my Vender Referral List, but also a few new ones that I was well pleased to work with.

The day of Laurin & Jeremy’s wedding came so quickly, and it was hard to believe how quickly time passed by. Laurin was absolutely stunning in her lovely ivory gown, with several beaded embellishments from her head to her toes. Gorgeous Gal!

The stage was all set for their lovely ceremony at Mariners Church, in Newport Beach. Wow, it was absolutely stunning and has totally become one of my top 5 favorite wedding chapels in the OC. They just completed the chapel a few weeks before their wedding, so the furniture even smelled new! Like getting into a new car! From the slate floors, dark oak wood paneling and design, to the steeple itself, the Chapel is amazing!

As I mentioned before, because Laurin was well organized and stuck to her planning checklist, she was able to add such wonderful, personal details to her wedding from personalized programs she printed herself, to a toiletry basket in the women’s restroom, to framed photos of their journey together… All the guests loved looking at all her details!

Laurin and Jeremy decided to take more of the traditional route and not see each other prior to the ceremony. Thankfully, both their ceremony and reception were at the same location, which gave them time to not have to worry about transportation to/from each venue and spend some great time doing pictures while their guests enjoyed a super yummy chocolate fountain, full of Laurin’s favorite sweet treats!

Because Laurin and Jeremy were really trying to stick with a tighter budget so that they could put the rest of their money towards purchasing a home, we spoke several times about ways to make their reception lovely and feel less like you were in a meeting room. One of the things that Laurin rented to create more of a classic-wedding feel was rent linens, napkins, glassware, and chair covers for the room as well as customizing the lighting in the space. The room really turned out lovely!

Thank you Jeremy & Laurin for letting me play a part in your special day! Many years of happiness & blessings to both of you!!!!
