Seriously, I love it when a couple starts their wedding day in anticipation of the First Look at their ceremony, combined with a fantastic attitude and downright spunk to make a wedding all about who they are… Well that was nothing short for this awesome couple, Joanne & Victor. And boy, did they know how to throw a dancing party combined with all the romance and sweetness of a beautiful memorable occasion…. it truly was a Magically Sweet Wedding…
Joanne & Victor selected the Holy Family Catholic Church for their beautiful, and very traditional Catholic Ceremony. I will never forget seeing both of them before the ceremony, Joanne in the limo waiting to walk down the aisle, and Victor all smiles while taking deep breaths in anticipation to see his lovely bride walk down that LONG aisle. It was so special to see them grin from ear to ear the moment they saw each other, and the ceremony was downright lovely too!
After the ceremony, guests ventured over to the stunning Richard Nixon Library for their grandiose reception. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with tasty hors d’ oeuvres, from Pineapple Shrimp and Beef Wellingtons, and quenching beverages, all by White House Catering. When the Bridal Party arrived in style (limousines provided by A to Z Limousines, they ventured out into the Rose Garden to finish up some beautiful pictures by the always great Harvard Photography (thanks you guys for these wonderful pics!) and Cinevent Productions for videography.
Joanne had selected a bright and festive color palette of hot pinks and turquoise blue, with hints of bright green for her Magically Sweet Wedding. It was an eye-catching color palette, that Larissa from Inviting Occasion composed beautifully for this couple in bursts of color from textured fuchsia linens from Wildflower Linens, to warm and inviting candles and orchids, to unique and luscious centerpieces that left all their guests in awe… Larissa has the details down, and I loved every bit of them!
I mean honestly, aren’t these amazing!?!?!
And the East Room, always stunning, but especially for this Magically Sweet wedding… Lighting and the awesome Music by none other than Visions Entertainment…
And Joanne & Victor’s cake, by TomGirl Baking Co… seriously Magical & Sweet!!!!
Again, the little hidden touches Larissa from Inviting Occasion brings forth… like their initials on a page from a Love Story… seriously Sweet!
And to end the evening on another Sweet note, Victor and Joanne tempted their guests with another treat… a delicious and decadent Candy Station, fit to fill all their guests sweet tooth’s…
