We LOVE IT when a bride takes the time to put together so many lovely DIY details. And this wedding just screams them… It was a beautiful day for this wonderful couple, Devin & Trevor, who selected the Newland Barn for their wedding ceremony and reception. Their vintage glam palette combined with rockin’ subtle touches of elegance made this day perfect!
Devin chose a gorgeous palette of colors for the bouquets. We especially loved all of the succulents that filled the bouquets.
Lots of fun DIY signage filled the day from the ceremony signage to the “S” for their last name to the directional signs. Such a fun touch to their day!
Their ceremony at the Newland Barn was in front of this darling gazebo. The brown wooden chairs, potted florals, and hanging aisle arrangements added a very elegant touch to their ceremony site.
After their ceremony, guests headed off to cocktail hour where they were able to “Sign their Name on a Leaf.” Rather than making the traditional seating chart or escort card, Devin created these birdseed hanging hearts for guests to use to find their seat. As if these fun details weren’t enough, they also had a Polaroid photo station! They set up a backdrop, and then guests could take their photos and hang on a clothespin line.

One of the reasons that Devin and Trevor loved the Newland Barn was because of the darling outdoor space. They brought in long tables and covered with burlap, florals, and hand-tied napkins that varied in color. They also had a fun “Papa & Mama” Sweetheart table for the two of them.
As the night went on, Devin & Trevor unveiled their delicious Sweet Darlin’ Dessert Station. No one in the house went without their favorite sweets tonight!
Although it may be summer, the evenings can still get a little chilly, so what can be better than a basket of blankets!
