Amy and Carl wanted a romantic wedding day that showed off their true love for one another. With a color palette of light pink, green, and ivory, the stage was set for a romantic affair. Amy was a blushing bride and could not have been any more beautiful! We loved the small details from her delicate earrings to her gorgeous pink and ivory bouquet. Her bridesmaids looked absolutely glam in their green polka dot dresses.
Amy & Carl selected the Richard Nixon Library because they wanted a romantic feel for their ceremony, and they got just that! The Rose Garden was in full bloom, so all of the additional florals just amplified the beauty of this romantic garden. We could not ask for a more perfect day for these two to come together as one.
After their romantic wedding ceremony, Amy & Carl headed off with their wonderful photographer, Becker Photography, for these great intimate shots (Thanks Becker for these amazing pics!!!)
Meanwhile, all of their guests headed into the hallway for a cocktail hour filled with wonderful cocktails and treats. Amy created a fun escort card board where all cards were pinned onto a fabric board. She also created a “key to seating chart” to show guests where their table would be located. Each table had a symbol, instead of a number for their guests to locate. We love when our brides take on these fun DIY projects for their wedding day!
The East Room is always gorgeous, but we loved the romantic feel that was shown through amber uplighting, lovely florals, and perfect table settings. We really liked the way that Amy selected a mix of high and low centerpieces to add dimension and style to the ballroom. Amy also selected several unique stationery touches from the menus, to the cookie cutter favors, to the symbol style table numbers.
So many delicious desserts from the sugar tower, to their delicious wedding cake, to profiteroles…
No better way to end a wedding than with a sparkler sendoff!
