We have a major crush on our recent styled shoot at the beautiful Aliso Viejo Country Club! Desert bohemian meets modern in this vibrant collaboration of the most incredible team of wedding vendors. Our mock ceremony fulfilled all of our boho wedding dreams, from the whimsical chiffon fabric draped loosely over the wooden ceremony structure, to the vintage bohemian rugs, jute and rope baskets, mid-century modern accent furniture, macrame dream catchers, leafy greenery, potted cacti, billowing pampas grass, and brightly hued florals. Metal chairs brought just the right amount of edge to the look. Our bride stunned in an Evelyn Bridal A-line style gown, with misty tulle, lace details, and an illusion neckline. The groom dressed up beautifully in a charcoal grey modern fit suit and royal blue tie, complements of Friar Tux.
The styled wedding reception was a drop-dead gorgeous combination of textures, colors, and prints and the end result was nothing short of amazing. Guests tables alternated between round and rectangular with cyan blue velvet linens, as well as rustic wood farm tables with damask table runners of vibrant red, tangerine, and fuchsia tones—all paired with metal chairs. Place settings included marble chargers, alternating cyan blue and latte napkins in a diagonal pocket fold, gold and white-dipped flatware, teal blue crystal goblets, and copper mugs. For the centerpieces, we love the eclectic mix of gold mercury glass containers, blue glass containers, and white ceramic pots, with bright pops of colorful blooms, pampas grass, and cactus. Fresh figs and pomegranates were the perfect embellishment for our vibrant tablescapes.
And the beauty didn’t stop there. We are head over heels over the luxurious lounge area that was staged near the dance floor, rich and vibrant in jewel tones with various prints and textures. The cake (a stunner!) was a clean and modern creation with white fondant, copper stripe details, and a pop of fresh flowers in coral and fuchsia.
To complement the boho-modern vibe, Agape Planning designed wedding stationery just for this occasion. We incorporated a mix of white calligraphied acrylic for the invitations and ceremony signage, as well as printed elements with vibrant hued floral and cactus artwork for the invitations, table numbers, and menu cards. To display our signature cocktails, we utilized a fresh cactus leaf as our canvas for white calligraphy.
