Sometimes I just feel so lucky, or rather blessed, I can pinch myself! Working with Alexis and Matt was nothing short of that… simply wonderful! Not only because this couple is so in tune with each other, but also because Alexis has such a gift and eye for elegance that it made my job easy. Honestly! Her vision of this shabby chic, Paris inspired wedding came to fruition on her wedding day and took her (and everyone elses) breath away. Their wedding simply was Exquisitely Classy! Now on for the details….
Alexis and Matt fell in love with the Richard Nixon Library, and selected it for both their ceremony and reception. Well as it would come to pass, their wedding day was one of those that the weather was crisp and refreshing, with a few sprinkles and showers here and there. Now for most couples, this would completely upset them. Well Alexis and Matt took it all in stride, and with complete optimism for a fantastic day. And that it was… Despite the rain drops on and off, we moved forward with the ceremony in the Rose Garden. The wonderful Don Johnson officiated their personal and emotional ceremony, and only added to the completely intimate setting when Alexis and Matt were saying their vows underneath his and her umbrellas. Seriously Classy!
The always wonderful, Flower Allie, integrated floral design with elegance and class, completing Alexis’ vision for her ceremony and reception. I loved the splashes of feathers and a little sparkle here and there…

After the ceremony, guests thoroughly enjoyed the rich cuisine and quenching cocktails served all evening by the fabulous Jason’s Catered Events. And the East Room took your breath away, not only because of Alexis & Matthew’s stunning decor, but also because of the lights and tunes by the wonderful Brian at Elevated Pulse, a new one of our favs! I also have to add that the simplicity, yet classiness of the Head Table took my breath away!
Seriously, can you get a more magnificent cake! Exquisite it was, and one of my all time favs! Always a great job by Its All About the Cake!!!
