I was blessed by the opportunity to work with Samantha on the final planning stages of her wedding. Samantha and I spoke back in February about me assisting her the day of her wedding, but at that time she wanted to give her sister-in-law the opportunity to assist and coordinate the day of. About a month out from her wedding, Sam and I reconnected as she was starting to feel that all her details were beginning to overwhelm her sister-in-law, and so she brought me on to complete the final details…

Samantha and Bill chose the Richard Nixon Library for their lovely wedding. And lovely it was, even with the warm summer sun casting down its rays on Nixon’s Rose Garden which was in full bloom for their ceremony. Thankfully Samantha rented some umbrellas to protect most of her guests from the warm summer sun and they added to the garden-feel of their ceremony and lovely florals…

Prior to arriving at the Nixon, Sam and Bill met earlier in the day at her parent’s home for a traditional Chinese Wedding Tea, and were then transported to the Nixon Library with their bridal party for further pictures and dress changes. And yes, Sam did change three times, from a pink formal ballgown for the Tea, to a romantic traditional wedding gown, and later in the evening to a sassy red gown perfect traditional Chinese red wedding gowns… She looked stunning in each, and i’ll never forget Bill’s exclamations about his lovely bride each time she changed (especially into the red gown)…

The East Room was set for their reception and the food was AMAZING, catered by Jason’s Catered Events. Jason himself was heading up the kitchen and the fantastic Natalie Vishney was running the show. What a great duo those two are! Guests could not stop raving about how wonderful the food was, especially for a wedding!

Sam’s choice in a light blue combined with chocolate brown and gold accents really brought the East Room to life. And the satin brown linens really made the lovely centerpieces pop and scream how truly lovely the wedding was. Plus, Samantha even added some wonderful mood lighting through her fantastic DJ, Mike Carcano, of Carcano DJ‘s. Always a true pleasure working with Mike! It honestly was a fun, beautiful wedding!

Thanks Sam & Bill for letting me be a part of it! Many blessings to both of you!
