Once in a while, I get the opportunity to work with a couple who instantly make me leave my initial consultation hoping not only that they book me, but that I can open up my personal life to and become friends! Mike and Lauren were that recent couple for me. Mike is smart, thoughtful, handsome, quick-witted and so IN LOVE with Lauren that it is sweet. Lauren has the ability to light up a room the minute she walks in. Her kind heart, beautiful smile and contagious laugh, combined with the fact that she is a lovely person inside and out, made it a true joy to walk alongside her in planning her wedding.
Lauren gave me the ability to help her create, dream and pull together a spectacular wedding that comprised not just her wedding day, but an entire weekend: Thanksgiving Feast, Rehearsal Dinner (Greek/Cuban Style), and a Send-off Brunch the day after. It was a whirlwind of a weekend, but truly phenomenal. And the icing on this wedding cake was that I grew to not only LOVE Lauren and Mike, but Lauren’s parents Rini and Gus. It was a blessing to be a part of this family’s life for a year and I am looking forward to many more years of friendship!
I love it when I have the opportunity to pair my clients with the perfect vendors for them, which also means choosing my favorites to be a part of their day.
