‘Tis the season for costume parties, fall colors, and all the accoutrements that go along with Halloween. Last year on Halloween, I had the distinct blessing to be a part of my first masquerade wedding…a theme I’ve always been inspired by!
Sydnie was the bride who thinks completely out of the box, which gave me the ability to be even more creative than usual! I was stretched as an event designer to bring some amazing elements to fruition — details that made guests feel as if they were being transported to Italy for a stunning Masquerade Ball. Sydnie selected luscious purples, deep and light pinks, and organic greens to bring her color palette to life. Guests were encouraged to dress the part, with unique masks and outfits. And the bride and groom’s attire were the hit of the party! Sydnie had her wedding gown custom-made and the ensemble fit her like a queen — all the way down to her fascinator-style veil.
Sydnie and Levi truly thought of everything to make their day at Rancho Las Lomas as fun as possible for their guests…masks provided for those who didn’t bring their own, sandals to dance in, a flipbook guestbook and memory station, and so much more! Sydnie also surprised Levi with a cigar bar and roller for the evening, and the cherry on top of the celebration was truly their remarkable wedding cake. Couples often choose to incorporate an anniversary wine box into their celebration, but since Sydnie and Levi are scotch-lovers, we customized the tradition into one they will have for years to come…enjoying a good aging scotch, reading love notes, and reminiscing about their splendid wedding.
