Sherelle and Kevin were truly a magnificent couple and it was such a pleasure to be a part of their classy, elegant wedding…

Sherelle selected a deep plum and ivory color palette, which really set the tone for an elegant night on a beautiful Sunday August evening. The Richard Nixon Library set the stage for their both their ceremony and reception. The ceremony was in the gorgeous Rose Garden with President Nixon’s birth house as the backdrop. It was honestly one of my favorite setups in the garden, with floral design by the very talented Jenny B.

During cocktail hour guests were able to enjoy so many wonderful things: yummy hors d’ oeuvres and beverages by White House Catering, tour the Nixon museums, and put on fun costumes to take photos in the photo booths by Red Cheese. The guests had so much fun with all the creative costumes that they could not pry themselves from the photobooths. Guests were also entertained at an arts and crafts table where they were able to put their creativity into action creating a festive guestbook for Sherelle and Kevin to enjoy.

The East Room was set ablaze in all its glory for this lovely wedding: The reception tables were decorated with tall, gorgeous, deep purple centerpieces, plum linens with gold china and silverware, and the East room walls were covered in beautiful purple lights by the awesome Atmosphere Entertainment. Sherelle, and her very talented mom, Sue, were creative and instead of using table numbers, they named each table after a President, which guests just got a kick out of.

I also can’t fail to mention the very creative and special Grand Entrance that Sherelle had envisioned with the help of the talented crew at Atmosphere Entertainment. The entire Bridal Party entered the East Room through a shadow wall, which captured all their motions set to tunes… Very Festive!

There was also an awe inspiring candy buffet that the guests could not get enough of. Throughout the entire reception the candy table was crowded with guests who absolutely loved this idea and kept returning to fill bags of candy.

For dessert there was a beautifully laid out cupcake table (Cupcakes by Frosted Cupcakery) with individual servings of ice cream. I thought this was such a cute and creative idea and the guests absolutely loved it!

All catering needs were provided by White House Catering who served a deliciously tasting vegetarian meal and a chicken dish that was also very tasty! Music entertainment was performed by the fun Yatchmen Little Big Band who entertained the guests with swing, jazz and classical pieces. The guests were also entertained by professional dancers who performed swing and jazz choregraphed dances.

At the end of the evening, Sherelle had planned a very special Sendoff for Kevin, which included a streamer exit and a Classic Limo by Classic Limousines… This only added to an wonderful, unforgettable wedding.

A very special THANK YOU to the talented, amazing and wonderful Jim Kennedy and Studio, for these awesome pics; White Rose Production for great Videography; Something Blue for Hair & Makeup; and Otherwise Strings for Ceremony Music. It was a truly a Magnificent Wedding… Thanks Sherelle & Kevin for giving me the opportunity to be a part of it!
