It was a perfect day for a wedding at Serra Plaza. I love this hidden gem in the heart of San Juan Capistrano. Since it is so close to Mission San Juan Capistrano, our lovely blushing bride & groom were able to sneak off to the mission for some great pre-ceremony photos.
It was a resplendent ceremony for Sanaz & John’s Wedding. With perfect weather, a blushing bride, gorgeous fabric draping, and a beautiful sofreh table. It was everything this sweet couple had dreamed of for their wedding.
Sanaz & John incorporated the traditional sugar ceremony into their Persian Ceremony. The officiant invites the married woman to come forward, and shake the sugar above the bride and groom. It is a way to wish blessings and the sweetness of life on the new couple.
After their ceremony, guests headed off to enjoy cocktail hour, grab a place card, and enjoy delectable treats and cocktails by Jay’s Catering.
Meanwhile, Sanaz & John headed off with their wonderful photographer, Sam Lim Studio, for some great bridal party and intimate shots (thanks for these Amazing pics Sam!).
While guests enjoyed cocktail hour, the courtyard was transformed into a resplendent reception space. Filled with divine table setups, florals, stationery, and string lights, it was a reception fit for a king and queen.
Perfectly sweet cake by Jay’s Catering. I loved the furniture pieced, candles, and florals that created this romantic setup.
Not only did Sanaz & John treat their guests to a wonderful cake, but also this fantastic dessert station by none other than Jay’s Catering. What a wonderful way treat to enjoy during their dance after-party.
