An absolute dream it was to work with this amazing duo, and to help them bring together all their lovely details as we planned their wedding from across time zones! Mona and Mazi were living in England during the entire wedding planning process, so it was my goal to ensure their special day at the Richard Nixon Library was as seamless as possible.
The beautiful sofreh — or wedding table, which is the customized centerpiece of Persian wedding celebrations — was a focal point of Mona and Mazi’s traditional Persian ceremony. Mona also wanted to incorporate the American tradition of having a bridal party, and we loved seeing the girls in their fabulous navy blue dresses standing next to her.
We also designed Mona and Mazi’s wedding day stationery, which is always so much fun for us! The classic mirror table numbers, stunning seating chart and more were in good company at their reception, with Flower Allie‘s lavish arrangement of pink roses and white hydrangeas adorning the sweetheart table, and Simply Sweet Cakery‘s classic three-tier white wedding cake and incredible dessert display stealing the show!

Mona’s friends Parissa Ghassemian and Allie Liliokalani created the most drop-dead gorgeous hairstyles for the bride and her bridesmaids.
Mona’s look for the day was so elegant and romantic, from her soft waves and long, sweeping veil to plenty of sparkly accessories.
