When you look at these pictures, I bet you couldn’t guess what month these lovely wedding photos were taken in… Drumroll please… February!!!! I know, shocking right!?!? It was an absolutely beautiful day, for this gorgeous and sweet couple, Lauren & Kit. They selected the always wonderful and lovely Richard Nixon Library for their special Graceful Glam Wedding…
It honestly was a gorgeous day in So Cal for their ceremony, which was held in the luscious Rose Garden. It was a sweet ceremony, filled with as much love, tears and devotion as one could get. Lauren looked amazing and Kit couldn’t wipe the smile off his face to see his blushing glamorous bride. Their ceremony was quite intimate, between a combination of great talented musicians, led by Alex, Noemy & Eric, and their dedicated pastor Dr. Richard Fretz, who led the ceremony with such grace and eloquence. I also loved the intimate and serving Foot-washing Ceremony, Lauren and Kit decided to incorporate. There honestly wasn’t a dry eye in the audience! It truly was a Graceful Ceremony…
After their ceremony while the Couple finished up a few pics with their wonderful photographers, Zelo Photography (thanks you two for these AMAZING pictures!!!), guests enjoyed the delicious cuisine with a Mexican flair by the always fabulous Jason’s Catered Events.
Then guests were treated to lots of goodies in the East Room for Lauren & Kit’s Reception: Glam lighting by Visions Entertainment; a place to kick up your feet on lounge furniture by Fusion Linens; upbeat and wonderful entertainment by Tony D’s Productions; stunning Glam florals by Robyn Sowers and crystal candlesticks and accessories by Elegant Tabletop Rentals; and a delicious wedding cake by Lindsay Azevedo.
I would be remiss if I failed to mention Lauren’s wonderful family who assisted her in making her dreams come true this day: Erika, Lauren’s sister, who handmade all the beautiful boutonnieres for all the guys; Kimberly, Lauren’s mother, whose idea it was to surprise her daughter on her wedding day with everything from a delectable Candy Station, to lounge furniture and many other beautiful details; Marcia, Lauren’s grandmother, who handmade all the lovely table runners, which in my opinion MADE the table design so much more lovely; and Kevin, Lauren’s father, who stood by his daughter not only on her wedding day, but through the whole planning process making sure his daughter was doing great, plus he wrote one of the most sentimental Father of the Bride speeches I have ever heard!
It truly was a Graceful Glam wedding for Lauren & Kit. One I will never forget, and one I know they enjoyed from start to finish. Thanks you two for giving me the opportunity to share in your special day!!
