Kristen and Jay had one of those magical weddings: An insanely gorgeous day, combined with an absolutely couple in love, and many of my favorite vendors. It was a wedding planners dream wedding, and who could ask for more!?!! Seriously, not only a stunning wedding day in So Cal for this amazing couple, but look at them! Could they be more happy!?!? Kristen & Jay truly had a magical romantic wedding…
The stage was set for Kristen and Jay’s lovely ceremony and reception at the Richard Nixon Library. The sun was shining and everyone’s faces were all aglow. The rose garden was absolutely romantic with lots of fresh, bright pink florals by the awesome Michele at Magnolia Design and guests were ushered into their magical ceremony to the beautiful sounds of the talented violinist, Jennifer Walton.
For their unity sand ceremony (which I loved!!), Kristen chose sand colors to match her wedding colors… I love sand ceremonies because it is a wonderful keepsake for the bride and groom to remind them of their vows to one another.
While Kristen and Jay snuck away with their very talented and wonderful photographer, Jen from Photojenic (thanks so much for these awesome pics!!!), guests enjoyed the delectable cocktails and cuisine by White House Catering. Then, guests were invited to find their placecard and sign Kristen & Jay’s guestbook, meanwhile enjoying all the gorgeous engagement photos that filled the book.
The East Room always looks romantic and magical when filled with great contrasting colors, like pink and black….
I love how Kristen chose black and pink as her wedding colors, and then continued on with her theme throughout her entire wedding day. Her reception centerpieces were filled with gorgeous pink flowers and then she incorporated black through her linens, and super cute heart favor ornaments handmade by Kristen’s talented mother, Nancy…
Not only did Kristen choose to have a gorgeous wedding cake, by Tasteful Cakes, she also had cookies for all the children at her wedding to enjoy… Such a classy gal she is…. And, at the end of the night a limousine, by Uniglobe Limousine Service, provided transportation for Kristen & Jay’s wedding guests back to their hotel. Such a classy way to end their magical romantic wedding…
