It was another gorgeous day for a wedding in Southern California.  We could not have asked for more perfect weather.  And this couple truly deserved a perfect wedding day!  Kristin & Derek are a darling couple… fun, charismatic, sweet and playful.  And their wedding combined not only their great personalities, but a colorful classiness that only can come from two fine individuals.  Kristin & Derek’s wedding truly was Alluring & Playful…

Kristin & Derek fell in love with the amazing Richard Nixon Library for their Ceremony and Reception.  The Rose Garden was set beautifully that afternoon with simple and yet alluring manzanita trees, decorated in Kristin’s selected orchid florals in bright purples & pinks, by the wonderful JoAnn Wanless.  Their ceremony was short and sweet, performed by Keith, Kristin’s grandfather.

After the ceremony, guests perused the grounds on this glorious day and enjoyed delicious cuisine and beverages by White House Catering.  The sweet Amy Theilig, Kristin & Derek’s Photographer, always does an excellent job of photographing artistic shots as well as capturing all the details, such as Kristen’s excellent wedding stationary that she handcrafted herself in her color palette of purples, pinks and blacks with a touch of a damask pattern.  Loved it!  Thanks Amy too for these great pics!

Their guest book was a darling “Wishing Tree,” where guests wrote wishes to the couple and then hung them on a manzanita tree…

The East Room was captivating in Kristin & Derek’s alluring and playful colors and I especially loved how romantic their head table turned out.  It was set up as a “Kings Table” where the Bride & Groom sat around the table with their entire bridal party and their dates.   The sight of it truly took Kristin (and her mom’s) breath away!  And of course, I can’t fail to mention how the lighting, by FBN Corp, truly tied everything together!

Their evening continued to roll on a sweet and playful vibe, with the help of the magic tunes of Battleson Entertainment…. And of course their alluring wedding cake, by Beverly’s Best Bakery, was captivating!

Towards the end of the evening, Kristin & Derek treated their guests to a sweet surprise…  a colorful, bright Candy Station in their color palette… and let me just say, guests didn’t have any problem emptying out the jars into their to-go baggies…  the kid really did come out in everyone!

I would be remiss if I failed to mention Kristin & Derek’s other fabulous vendors:  Bella Blush Beauty – Makeup/Hair, Lake Forest Limos – Transportation, and the Summit House – Rehearsal Dinner.

Thanks Kristin & Derek for the opportunity to be a part of your Alluring & Playful Wedding…. It truly was fabulous and I wish you both the best!
