Katy & Chris had a very clear vision for their wedding day. They wanted to design a wedding with the touches of the patriotic theme of 1776, in combination with luscious hues of purples and reds. We cannot think of a more fitting theme for a Richard Nixon Presidential Library Wedding.
To start the day off right, Chris and all his groomsmen began the morning with a hot shave at Elite Barbers.
And the girls were spoiled with hair and makeup fanfare… The girls were dressed in their best with their gorgeous gowns and florals.
Katy had a very specific vision for her wedding stationary, so we were able to design all of the stationery pieces to show off their touches of the 1776 patriotic theme. Guests were greeted by a welcome sign, followed by a manuscript style ceremony program.
It was an absolutely gorgeous ceremony in the Rose Garden. Jenny B. Floral Design put together so many stunning florals to compliment their wedding day style.
After their perfect ceremony, guests enjoyed a few delicious cocktails and appetizers by none other than the amazing Creme De La Creme Catering. Meanwhile, this sweet couple headed off with their fantastic photographer, Kaysha Weiner Photographer, for some great couples portraits. Thanks so much for sharing these incredible pictures!!!
The East Room was shining in all of it’s glory for Katy & Chris’ reception. Katy selected so many special details to bring this room to life: from their tall and a short centerpieces to add height and dimension to the space, to purple up-lighting, candles, and special mantle decor.
The stationery pieces we designed for the reception included a seating chart to match the declaration of independence, menus with a presidential seal, table numbers, and place cards.
To make Katy & Chris’ grand entrance even more special, they were led into the East Room by some of Chris’ closest friends in his military service. One of our favorites: The Sword Arch!
Their wedding cake was a spectacular decor piece with the gorgeous cascading florals.
To end their wonderful day, Katy and Chris headed out to a spectacular sparkler sendoff. What better ending for a patriotic wedding day than to head out under sparklers! As if this wasn’t enough, they jumped inside their classic car and headed off in style.
