It has taken me a few weeks to finally get around to blogging about this sweet couple I had the honor of serving on their wedding. Jee and Cyle came to me in early February to assist in their wedding plans. Well actually, it was Jee and her mother Kay. They were recommended to me by Carrie and Laura at the Nixon Library (thanks you two!)… Within a few days of our initial meeting, I was able to come along side Jee (who happens to live out of California) to assist in the final preparations for her wedding. Thankfully, Jee is super organized and had everything booked prior to coming my way, which made getting her timeline and all other loose ends easy to “tie up.”
Jee & Cyle’s wedding ceremony and reception were both held at Richard Nixon Library.
Creme de la Creme catered her wedding and ofcourse the food was fantastic! I mean what can you expect!!??!? Mark is an amazing chef and his staff (love ya Jenn) were so organized, polite, and on point. I knew I would not have to worry about the food or service at any point during the wedding…
The magnificent Rose Garden & East Room’s decorations were beautiful, by Marcia Johnson; The mood was festive, by Jeff at Moondance Mobile Music; and of course Amy, Amy T Photography, was a blast to work with! Always on point, friendly, and super patient in dealing with a large family and bridal party (Cyle was one of 10 and all his siblings were present, including their spouses and kids)…
I have to interject that from the very beginning there was something special about Jee. I came to realize that it was her relaxed, easy going character that came to light through the whole process. Even the day of the wedding she was so relaxed! I was impressed and so grateful for her demeanor…
It was a wonderful wedding and I am so grateful to both Jee and Cyle for the opportunity to serve them. Blessings to both of you!
