This whimsical, fairytale-esque
Hyatt Regency Newport Beach wedding gives us all the feels! Our lovely bride envisioned an elegant, garden-inspired wedding day with a romantic storybook feel (even her dress was straight out of a fairytale), and we were beyond delighted to bring that vision to life. Pretty blooms in vintage hues of blush, ivory, dusty pink, and mauve by
Jenny B Floral Design were in abundance at the ceremony, and a dove release added a sweet touch to the bride and groom’s “I do’s”. For the reception, guests dined alfresco amidst towering trees and market lights on the hotel’s Garden Patio—the perfect setting for this classic affair. Guest tables were beautifully dressed with ivory satin linens, blush sequin runners, clear glass gold beaded chargers, gold flatware, and gold-rimmed glassware. Centerpieces alternated between tall and low, all brimming with lush cascading florals, and rose gold votive candles brought a warm glow to the tables. We absolutely adore the scroll-like menu cards we designed to grace each place setting, and the seating chart—perhaps our favorite detail—consisted of a moss covered board with the table assignments organized by “chapters”, calligraphied in gold on individual storybooks with a pale pink and gold ribbon detail. To continue our storybook theme, we also designed complementing table number “chapters” for each table.
Simply Sweet Cakery perfectly matched the timeless and lovely aesthetic of the evening in the form of an ivory three-tier cake with a delicate floral detail etched along each tier. The entire evening was simply enchanting from start to finish, and it was all captured beautifully by
Eelekim Studio. Here’s to Stephanie & Kenneth’s happily ever after!
