Get ready to be overwhelmed with happiness when you soak in all of the vibrant and colorful beauty that was this wedding! Radhika and Kalyan’s Hyatt Huntington Beach affair beautifully paired their traditional South Asian heritage with contemporary decor. The color palette was one that dreams are made of: soft, romantic blushes and whites with brilliantly bold fuchsia and pinks. To say the day was absolutely breathtaking is an understatement! Bloom Box outdid themselves with the most spectacular explosion of blooms. The ceremony was a jaw-dropping sight to behold, from the blush draped canopies over the ceremony seating to the white stage that led all the way from the beginning of the aisle to the mandap structure. To top it all off, voluminous floral arrangements on acrylic pedestals were placed at the ceremony entrance and the grand mandap structure was brimming with bountiful florals. Not only was the decor gorgeous, but the look of love on the bride and groom’s faces were priceless. The baraat and mandap ceremony were also filled with so much joy and happiness, it was definitely infectious!
For the evening reception, we designed a sweeping ombré effect across the entire ballroom, going from white, to blush, to pink, and then to fuchsia. The end result was nothing short of amazing! An extra large white dance floor filled the center of the room, which seamlessly blended into white-draped king’s tables set directly on the edges of the dance floor, lucite chairs, white blooms, and an all-acrylic sweetheart table with cascading white orchids. The ombré effect spanned out from there reflecting in the linens and flowers: from blush, to pink, and then to fuchsia. Four different centerpiece concepts were also designed for each section, all in a whimsical and romantic style with accents of garden greenery. For the bride and groom’s sweetheart stage, Bloom Box provided a stunning backdrop of a hand-painted, abstract ombré wall. This perfectly complemented the contemporary lounge furniture on stage, as well as the abundance of florals and candlelight. For the cake, Sweet Traders created a beautiful masterpiece with an ombré of watercolor-like strokes in pink and fuchsia tones. Every detail from start to finish was absolutely dreamy, and Lin & Jirsa the perfect photographer to capture it all. See below for all this vibrant, floral-filled féte had to offer!
