There’s something about weddings with a pastel color palette that leave us completely enchanted. Which is why we were inspired to partner with a dream team of vendors to create this lovelier than lovely styled shoot at the beautiful Franciscan Gardens. It truly took springtime romance to a whole new level! To set the tone for the day, we designed soft-hued wedding invitations with a greenery and floral design and scalloped border backing, along with complementing table numbers, menu cards, and place cards. For our mock ceremony, we accented the rustic brick wall of the venue’s ballroom with a giant circle arch made with organic greenery, garden roses, and accents of pastel balloons for a touch of whimsy. A vintage rug at the altar and alternating styles of parlor chairs completed the look. We also staged a champagne welcome table with sprigs of lavender as garnish for each glass.
Our mock reception incorporated a mix of vintage distressed wood guest tables and round guest tables dressed in soft peach linens with alternating parlor chairs. Lush and low centerpieces were made with loose greenery and delicate spring blooms in lavender, violet, peach, pale pink, and soft lemon yellow. Gold mercury glass candles and romantic taper candles in vintage brass holders only added to the prettiness of the tablescapes. Place settings consisted of matte beige chargers layered with antique gold-rimmed plateware, white linen napkins with pastel trim, gold flatware, vintage violet and blush goblets, and crystal-cut champagne coupes. And, for a little extra springtime beauty, we embellished each plate with a fresh pear and more lavender!
The sweetheart table exuded timeless romance with a rustic-wood Parisian style table on top of a vintage rug, softened with a sheer white runner, grey velvet settee with peach and ivory pillows, and a darling greenery wreath overhead. And what would a styled wedding shoot be without a fabulously fun dessert table?! Beautifully decorated pastel treats were staged on an antique dresser, along with a diagonal lined cake with fondant lavender leaves. A playful balloon garland framing the sweets station was enough to make us swoon. We hope you enjoy this shoot as much as we did creating it!
