Another beautiful day for a Dazzling Grand Wedding in Southern California! It was a dream come true for this fantastic pair and it was seriously a blast to work with such an amazing couple!
Courtney and Devin chose The Westin South Coast Plaza for their wedding ceremony and reception. Courtney selected a palette of all shades pink with ivory and silver accents. Standing Ovation Flower Gallery truly did a superb job at bringing Courtney’s vision for her florals to life.
The day began at the Waterfall Terrace where Judge Jeffrey Gunther led these two in a magical wedding ceremony. With live music in the form of an electric violinist, it was nothing short of a perfect ceremony for this dazzling duo.
One of my favorite personal touches from this wedding was found in a beautiful wooden box. Inside the box lay 2 wine glasses and a key. During their ceremony, Courtney and Devin exchanged love letters that were placed in this wooden wine box, along with a favorite bottle of wine. They were reminded to open their letters, and their bottle of wine together, should they encounter hard times in their marriage in the years to come. It was so intimate and personal, and I will definitely be recommending to all my brides who would like to add a unique touch to their ceremony!
While guests wined and dined on delicious tray passed cuisine and cocktails, Courtney & Devin grabbed a few couple’s intimate shots by Taverna Photography.
As the night went on and the grand ballroom was unveiled, a few more surprises were in store. Every guest was welcomed to their seat by a preset place card and a delicious box of See’s Chocolates. On top of that, gorgeous pink up-lights were displayed all through the room and a customized monogram by Invisible Touch was found on the dance floor. To top it off, Courtney opted to rent silver chiavari chairs through Fusion Linens. This was such a nice touch to an already dazzling reception.
