Its always a fabulous day for a wedding at the beautiful Richard Nixon Library. And nothing could have been better for Courtney and Mike’s classic and lovely wedding there in May. Plus, they celebrated and honored their mom’s that day as they chose to get married on Mother’s Day. I remember Courtney saying that she asked her mom if that would be okay to have their wedding on that day, and her mom commented that nothing would please her more than to celebrate her daughter’s wedding on her special day. How sweet!
Courtney and Mike knew exactly what they wanted and how to make their day special. Their ceremony was intimate and sweet in the Rose Garden, dashed with a bit of color from the flowers in bloom in the garden and the rustic cross, made by the Bride’s grandfather. There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience as these two beautiful people committed their lives to each other… El Real Chamber Players and their two great officiants, Joe & John, completed the ceremony with elegance.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed hors d’ oeuvres and beverages by the amazing White House Catering (always a great choice), while Mike and Courtney finished up a few remaining pics with their awesome photography duo of Blake and Ali, from Beamish Photography. By the way, thanks you two for letting me snag these great pics from your blog!
The reception was the completion to Mike and Courtney’s awesome day. Between Lydonas Floral Design and FBN Corp creating all the gorgeous florals and lighting, DJ Webb (Awesome Entertainment) setting the mood and vibrant dance atmosphere, Beverly’s Best making such a delicious wedding cake for guests to enjoy, and United Limousines providing the Bride & Groom’s getaway car. It was a fantastic day.. truly!
Thanks Mike & Courtney for giving me the pleasure to assist you in your special day. Many sincere blessings to you both!
