Alicia & Daniel were simply a dream couple to work with… They are both such intelligent, sweet individuals that combined make one dynamic duo. And their wedding culminated their cultural backgrounds and great taste. It was a Delightfully Charming Wedding!
I was blessed to not only be a part of Alicia & Daniel’s special day, but to have the pleasure of being referred to them by a previous client! Such an honor for my bride’s to think of me and refer me to their loved ones and friends. Upon meeting Alicia, I knew it was going to be a beautiful wedding, one I wouldn’t want to miss out taking part in.
Alicia & Daniel selected two great venues for their Wedding: Descanso Gardens, for their stunning Rose Garden Ceremony, and, Mission 261 for their reception and party. It had been a long time since I was able to be back in my old college stomping grounds of Pasadena, and to see this gorgeous venue come to life for their wedding was spectacular. I mean honestly, the Descanso Garden’s walkways lined with tranquil arches, koi ponds, and of course spring time florals bursting with flowers made for a lovely backdrop for Alicia & Daniel’s Delightfully Charming ceremony. My pictures don’t even do it justice!
After the ceremony, while family took some great pictures with the very talented Allen King, guests roamed the gardens and then headed over for a very traditional Chinese wedding, but this time it was fit for a queen and king! The 9-course fan-faire of food was fantastic and guests couldn’t stop eating for honestly like 2 hours. The Dancing Crazy tunes, by House Entertainment, in combination with the stunning floral designs by Wen Floral Design and chair covers by Nancy Party Rental, made it an evening to remember.
I would be remiss if I failed to mention Alicia & Daniel’s other fantastic vendors: Kelly Zhang – Hair & Makeup; Osman Shariff – Officant; Portos Bakery – Wedding Cake; and, Arcadia Party Rentals – rentals.
Thank you Alicia & Daniel for letting me share in your special day! It was an honor to be a part of it!
