It never ceases to amaze me how much fun weddings can be. Especially weddings that combine a beautiful atmosphere, a once in a lifetime wedding date and celebration, decadent cuisine and beverages, all paired with an exquisite and sweet couple. In this case, I’d have to be talking about Hanieh & Omid’s wedding. It truly was a festive Glam New Years Wedding…
When I met Hanieh & Omid, they made me smile. Not only are they seriously a darling couple, but they have spunk too. And Hanieh knew exactly what she envisioned for her stunning wedding. Hanieh & Omid selected the gorgeous Richard Nixon Library for both their ceremony & reception. It was cool brisk day, and they decided to have their ceremony indoors, which turned out completely lovely. And their officiant Alahmad, only added to the uniqueness and sweetness of their ceremony. Elegant Sofreh Design combined such elegant decor items with all the traditional elements of a Persian Wedding. Their Sofreh table was absolutely Glam and perfect!
After Hanieh & Omid’s beautiful ceremony, guests enjoyed the decadent cuisine by Party Organization, headed by the fabulous David Masrour. Not only was their food presentation stunning, but the taste was exquisite! And despite the fact that I am not Persian, I tend to be a picky eater when it comes to Persian food. Well this food blew my mind! It truly was a bit of Glam and yet completely tasty!
Combined with their amazing food was the talented decor and centerpieces by Mina Wholesale Flowers. Orchids are one of Hanieh’s favorite flowers and they looked breathtaking in all white. Plus, I loved that they took on the lighting effects in the ballroom, naturally tinting themselves in the ambient colors. DJ Taraneh‘s lighting and his sweet rhythms helped create a night to remember… Glam, Glam, Glam!!!
The tasty and beautiful cake Hanieh selected, by Cinderella Cakes, was truly a slice of heaven. Truly captivating and Glam!
One of my truly favorite NEW WEDDING ideas Hanieh surprised Omid with was hiring an Event Painter. The talented Agnes Russo brought her unique style and created a one of a kind masterpiece for Hanieh & Omid to enjoy forever. It was amazing and yes, all things Glam!
Just before we rang in New Years, Hanieh & Omid surprise the crowd with not only chilled Champagne for a toast, but also all the fun and festive gear that goes along with a fantastic New Years Celebration: everything from hats to necklaces to the best noise makers one can get! The crowd went wild at midnight as Hanieh and Omid celebrated the end of their wedding day, and the start of the New Year and their new life together with all their friends and family! What more could a beautiful couple ask for!?!?!
