I had the great honor this past Sunday to work with Jim from the Southern California Restaurant Writers on his event at the Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace. The SCRW was hosting their Thirty-Fifth Annual Awards Banquet honoring worthy individuals and the finest restaurants with their Five Star Awards. Wow, you should have seen those in attendance… The Thornton’s from the Thornton Winery in Temecula, Tim Haley from Captain Jack’s, Patrick Beretta from The Madison, and of course, Bruno Serato & Staff from the Anaheim White House Restaurant.
Guests wined and dined on fabulous cuisine by none other than White House Catering, and prestigious wines from local wineries. The evening truly was “fit for a king or queen.”
Awards were received by most in attendance, and I have to brag a bit on behalf of the Anaheim White House… They received the Five Star Award for the Best Sunday Brunch in Socal, and the Five Star Award for the Best Italian Fine Dining Restaurant in Socal! Franko, from the White House, also received the Mixologist of the Year Award! Congrats to Bruno, Sylvano, Franko, Amine and all of the staff! You deserve it! xoxo…
