I absolutely love when I receive the opportunity to coordinate a wedding for a long distance couple. With Wendy & Michael, it was just that! Living in London and planning a wedding was a difficult task, but Wendy was certainly up for the challenge. It was very important to them to have a wedding that showcased their unique personalities and who they are as a couple.

Michael proposed to Wendy in his parents garden. After a visit to the Richard Nixon Library, they knew that the Rose Garden would be the perfect place for their ceremony. For their reception, the East Room also fit the bill because of the European undertones. It certainly was the enchanting picturesque wedding day this darling duo had dreamed of…

Wendy selected a color palette of deep blues and purples. Inviting Occasion brought this vision to life through gorgeous floral bouquets.

Love this first look captured by none other than Lin & Jirsa Photography (Thanks so much for the awesome pics!!).

It was a magical ceremony in the Rose Garden. Their chuppah completed the vision that Wendy had for her picturesque wedding day.

One of my favorite moments of the traditional Jewish ceremony is when the bride circles her groom seven times. The seven circles parallel the seven days of creation. It symbolizes that the bride and groom are creating their new  life together as husband and wife.

I always enjoy when my brides plan a special moment for the two of them as they are sent down the aisle as husband and wife. Wendy arranged for her guests to throw petals as stopped midway for a special photo.

After this enchanting ceremony, Wendy & Michael headed off with their photographer for a few picturesque bridal party and intimate shots.

Sugar Press created gorgeous escort cards and programs to complement Wendy & Michael’s Invitations.

The East Room was such an enchanting space filled with so many sweet details. Gorgeous centerpieces, sublime lighting, fantastic table settings, and photo mantle decor, created a perfect space.

As if that wasn’t enough, a delicious dessert station by Sweet & Saucy Shop.

Everyone danced the night away to the sounds of Visions Entertainment.

To end the night, they planned a fantastic sparkler sendoff and a classic car!
