There’s nothing like bold pops of color to make our hearts go pitter patter! Christy and Patrick’s gorgeous, floral-filled fête at The Resort at Pelican Hill combined soft and neutral tones of blush and champagne with the rich and vibrant hues of burgundy and dark green. Crescent shaped floral arrangements overflowing with textural greenery and blush, burgundy, and ivory blooms by Bloom Box made a dramatic visual impact at the ceremony altar, as well as the reception tables. Guests enjoyed the panoramic ocean view throughout the evening, from the ceremony and cocktail reception to the intimate, alfresco dinner reception.
Underneath strings of lights were two long dining tables dressed with blush linens, burgundy napkins, clear glass chargers, gold chairs, and loads of candlelight. Tall floral arrangements adorned each dining table, as well as a lush floral garland that spanned the length of each table and cascaded over the sides to the ground. To finish off the look, agate stones with guest names in gold calligraphy were set at the place settings. For the wedding cake, we were able to design something fabulously elegant and out-of-the-box, and The Resort at Pelican Hill brought that confectionary vision to life. The entire day was a dream from start to finish, and we could not have been more blessed to have such a lovely bride and groom to work with.
