As I write about this beautiful couple, my heart aches and my eyes tear up as I relive this amazing day. It’s not just that this special day was beautiful from start to finish, but it also reminds me of how fragile and precious life is. A few short weeks after Stephanie and Israel were married, Israel lost his life in a horrific car accident and Stephanie became a newlywed widow. The worst nightmare. But it’s not surprising to me that this incredible woman, Stephanie, rose above the heartache, despair, anger, and questions to grasp lovingly to the sweet memory and time she will always cherish that she had with Israel. Her strength, will and hope blesses my soul tremendously and I am honored to call her friend.
Stephanie, words cannot express my sincerest and deepest sorrow for your loss. Please know that you are a true blessing to so many, and your strength, love and integrity are a model to us all. I know your little girl is going to grow up knowing not only how deeply you love her, but also what a wonderful, kindhearted, loving man her daddy was. I know you are going to be the most amazing mom!

What a truly exquisite wedding this was to be a part of. Stephanie is an amazing, caring, thoughtful young woman and has such great taste. She fell in love with Rancho Las Lomas, knowing it was the perfect fit — with its stunning Spanish style and beautiful architecture. The design and style of Stephanie and Israel’s wedding was nothing short of a Spanish romance, filled with luscious blush florals, stately design, and details, details, details. I especially loved designing her wedding stationery and signage! Every element was so true to this wonderful couple’s style, and their love for each other shines through so brightly in every moment.
