Janelle & James are a fabulous couple! I had the pleasure of being a part of their wedding day and was blessed to work with Janelle over the several months leading up to their festive day. I’ll never forget meeting the two of them for their Planning Consultation, and seeing how much they truly adored each other. James just simply smiled numerous times at his lovely bride to be when asked about his thoughts on a certain subject. He basically commented, “whatever you’d like sweetheart,” which made me smile at his thoughtfulness. James really only had one request for their special day, which was to include a Mariachi Band for a portion of their reception as most of his family’s heritage is from Mexico. And I tell you, it was truly a hit that only added to this Divinely Charming Wedding…
Janelle knew exactly what she wanted, from her divine color palette of deep greens and silky ivories, to her stunning dress, to the intimate wedding ceremony and reception for only their closest family and friends. She had selected the Richard Nixon Library, truly a great compliment to this budding lawyer and especially to be the backdrop for this lovely affair. Their ceremony was held on a day that could not have been more gorgeous in the Nixon’s rose garden. Jenny B Floral Design always combines such lovely florals, and in this case of this wedding it wasn’t just green and white, she added a pop here and there of a simple and charming light pink…
After the ceremony, guests were able to walk in the tranquil gardens, sip on some quenching beverages and tasty hors d’ oeuvres by White House Catering, all the while James & Janelle finished up a few pictures with their bridal party and family. The ever-so-fabulous Jen, from PhotoJenic, truly knew exactly how to capture all the day in just the perfect way… thanks too Jen for these great pics!
The East Room was honestly stunning for Janelle & James’ wedding… the florals were divine, romantic and very complimentary to the chandeliers in the room. The ambiance created by Carcano DJ was fantastic! And their Candy Station, a special after dinner treat for all their guests, was befitting and yummy in all the best green and white candies imaginable, from Mocha Almonds to Watermelon Sours…
And of course Janelle selected a divine cake, from Black Forest Bakery…
I would totally be remiss if I didn’t thank some of Janelle & James’s other fantastic vendors: Makeup by Berit, Tiffany Monday for Hair, California Limousines & Classic Limousines for Transportation, and, Freddy Espinosa for the wonderful Mariachis. It was a Divinely Charming wedding for this wonderful couple. Thank you, Janelle and James, for the opportunity to be a part of your special day… I wish you two the best!
