Everyone who knows me knows that I just LOVE WEDDINGS!!!! They make me smile, and sometimes even giddy like a school-girl. But what makes me even more happy than actually coordinating weddings, is when i see my clients years past their weddings with kids and such. So when I was given the opportunity to assist in planning and coordinating a 50th Wedding Anniversary, you know I jumped on it!

During the month of July, I was contacted by Leslie and her husband Mike to assist them in planning Mike’s parent’s (Paul & Alice) 50th Wedding Anniversary. The venue was going to be the gorgeous home belonging to Mike & Leslie, with the guest count around 50 people. So I assisted in rounding up the troops, and used some of my favorites to come alongside me to make this party one to remember for Paul & Alice:
Magnolia Designs did the amazing florals,

Create A Party for all the rental needs, Fusion Linens for the lovely table linens in mocha,

JME created the ambiance with the three-piece band,

PhotoJenic captured the entire event (and gave me these lovely photos to boot.. thanks Jen!),

About Town Bartending quenched the guests palettes,

And a new addition to my list was Jeff the Silent Chef. He was FANTASTIC!!!!! Honestly, I can’t say enough about him and his staff. They knocked my socks off, and the guests too, and kept all of us coming back for more yummy cuisine and sweets.

Their sweet September night was kept very low-key, so that Paul and Alice could enjoy chatting among their guests. But low-key didn’t at all mean boring… guests wined and dined to their hearts content, tapped their foot to the gentle jazz in the background, watched a slideshow of Paul & Alice’s wedding, and laughed and reminisced the night away. It truly was a wonderful event, and one that honored and cherished the marriage of Paul and Alice.

Thank you to Leslie, Mike, and Paul & Alice for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful party. It was such a honor!
